A stunning pair of antique double-arm sconces in cast bronze and retaining their original gilding. These Georgian style sconces were found in a home in New York, NY, and are attributed to renowned maker, E.F Caldwell. Dating from 1910, each sconce features a scalloped back plate featuring a foliate and floret detailed border interspersed with leafy corbels; two arms extend from the beautifully cast backplate to support gadrooned and scalloped wax-pans and candle cups. These wall lamps are in excellent antique condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce is 12-1/2†tall, 11-1/4†wide, and projects 7†from the wall.
