A wonderful late 19th century two-light chandelier, originally half gas and half electric, and now completely wired for electricity. This brass pendant begins with a square canopy, coming down in a rod to a junction below. One rod stretches out from the side of the junction to support an upward-facing glass shade and gas key; Opposite, another identical rod with a downward-facing brass fitter supports a square frosted shade. This light fixture is in excellent antique condition and the shades are also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The pendant measures 10” wide by 30-1/4″ long overall.
