A sleek complete working thumb-latch set for an exterior door, dating from the 1920’s or 1930’s. This door hardware set consists of a large exterior handle with a thumb latch, an interior glass knob and rosette, thumb turn, striker plate, lock cylinder escutcheon, and mortise lock; the cast brass handle features a stylized fleur de lis design. The simplicity of this set lends it to work with a variety of styles; it is in very good antique condition. The larger handle measures 8-7/8” tall, 3” wide with a 2-1/2″ projection and the interior knob is 2-1/4″ in diameter with a 2-1/8″ projection, and the rosette is 2” diameter. The mortise faceplate measures 7-3/4″ tall by 1-1/8″ wide and the body is 5-7/8″ tall by 3-1/8″ wide with a 2-1/2″ backset and has a coordinating strike plate.
