Description
A stunning antique Neoclassical chandelier, found in a home in Indianapolis, IN, and dating from the early 1900’s. This brass chandelier begins with an elegant canopy, descending in chain to meet a loop finial perched above an urn-shaped body. Four arms curl outwards from the bottom of the fixture to affix to understated shade holders which hold the fixtures original, wheel cut glass shades; the arms are adorned with scrolling leaves. This light fixture is in very good condition and the shades are also in good condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 24″ wide, 27” tall, and 58-1/2″ tall.
