Description
A beautiful antique two tone five-light chandelier, dating from the 1930’s, with its original sit-in or “pudding-bowl” shades. Salvaged out of a home in Massachusetts, this chandelier begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to a two-tone body below. Three brass arms extend from the bottom of the body, connected by a brass band encircling the chandelier. At the end of each arm is a simple shade holder that supports a delightful “custard” shade. The light is completed with a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms suspended below the body. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the shades are in good antique condition with the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 17-1/8” wide, 15” tall (body only), and 25-5/8” long overall.
