Description
A stunning antique five-light Neoclassical chandelier with prisms, circa 1910, in its original silver plate. The chandelier begins with a gorgeous canopy, coming down in four chains to a silver plated body below; the chandelier body features an understated design of bellflowers and foliates. Five chandelier arms extend from the pan-shaped body of the chandelier to support leafy bobeches, each hung with a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms. The chandelier finishes with a dangling tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20” wide and 22-3/4” tall, and the fixture is 35-1/4” long overall.
