A splendid antique five-tiered chandelier in its original silver plate, dating c. 1910 and found in a home in Baltimore, MD. This “wedding cake” chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in chain to an intricate loop finial atop a slightly domed and silver-plated roof of the chandelier body. The roof is encircled with a pierced border of flowing ribbons and floret details. Below, the chandelier supports five tiers of sparkling “icicle” prisms, and is finished with a faceted crystal ball. This chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is approx. 15” wide and approx. 23-1/4” long; the fixture is approx. 40” long overall.
