Stately antique five-light chandelier with nautical motif, dating from the 1920s. This figural cast bronze fixture begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to a loop finial perched above a crenellated platform. Five broad bronze bands curl down to form the body, each featuring a circular medallion depicting stylized Viking ships. Five chandelier arms extend out from the bottom of the body, supporting crenellated bobeches. This fixture is in excellent condition and retains its original polychrome finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 18-1/4″ wide, 24″ tall (body only), and 71-1/4″ long overall.
