Matching pairs of antique Adam style double-arm sconces made by Empire, featuring their original aged silver-plate finish. Dating from the 1920s, each urn-shaped back plate features understated details and an elongated body. Two fluted arms extend from the center of each back plate and curve upward to support a wax pan hung with a curtain of icicle prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition and have been stamped by their maker and with “PAT. MAR 29, 21.” They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 8” wide, 12-1/2” tall, and protrudes 4” from the wall.
