Description
Striking antique bronze figural double-arm sconce pair by E.F. Caldwell, dating from the 1930’s. Each sconce features a circular back plate depicting a pastoral scene of a traditional Asian rice field farmer. Two smooth arms ascend upwards from the top of the backplate to support two-part bobeches and candles cups; a single sparkling zipper-cut prism suspends from each bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; their mirrors come in varying conditions. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 11-5/8” tall, 8” wide and project 4-1/8” from the wall.
