Description
A stunning pair of antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces with prisms, dating from the early 1900’s. Each sconce features a convex circular backplate crowned with a decorative ribbon loop finial and framed with a foliate border. Two sconce arms curl outward from the center of the backplate to support leafy bobeches hung with a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully worn silver plate over brass finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 13-3/4” tall, 9-1/2″ wide, and project 5″ from the wall.
