Description
This is a superb antique five-light cast iron chandelier, found in a home in Illinois and dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a decorative canopy that comes down in chain to a trefoil loop finial; the finial is perched above a beautifully cast bronze chandelier body made up of swirling volutes. Five chandelier arms extend out to support elegant candle cups with pierced detailing. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18-3/4” wide and 19-1/2” tall, and the fixture is 35” long overall.
