Description
An amazing antique five-light hammered chandelier adorned with grape leaves, dating from the 1920’s, and found in a home in Charleston, SC. This chandelier begins with a decorative two-tone canopy that comes down in chain to a twisted loop finial. Below, a cluster of five bands descend to form the chandelier body and extend outwards to become the chandelier arms. Each bobeche has a dangling finial features swirling volutes and leaves and the chandelier finishes in a coordinating finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition with one minor stress crack at the base (as pictured); it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20-1/4″ wide and 23-3/4″ tall, and the fixture is 38-5/8″ long overall.
