An stunning antique four-light Neoclassical chandelier, signed Niesco and retaining some of its original silver plating. The chandelier, salvaged out of a home in Indianapolis, IN, begins with an elegant canopy, coming down chain to a decorative loop finial atop an urn. Below, four downward facing bobeches suspend from the perimeter of the intricate lamp body, each holding an exposed bulb surrounded by a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms. This silver plate over pewter light fixture is in very good antique condition; it has various age spots and areas where the plating has worn, which does not detract from the beauty of the fixture (as pictured). It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 21-3/4″ wide (diagonally), 17″ wide (square), 19” tall, and the light is 38-1/2″ long overall.
