A stunning antique one light gas chandelier, dating from the 1890s and now converted to electricity. The fixture begins with an understated brass canopy, coming down in a rod to meet the open pendant body below. A curving band forms the pear-shaped body and converges at the bottom to affix to a simple shade holder finished with its original gas key. The holder supports a gorgeous opalescent shade. The pendant is in very good antique condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures 11-7/8” wide by 40-1/2” long overall.
