A large antique three light lantern, found in a home in Franklin, TN. The iron fixture begins with a simple canopy coming down in a chain to a loop finial surrounded by leafy accents. Below, the chandelier body is embellished with a scrolling volutes that surround the iron framework which makes up the fixture’s hexagonal body. The body of the lantern features divided panels of beveled clear glass, surrounded at top and bottom with wonderfully cast and hand-wrought details. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges; There are several spikes around the top of the fixture missing(as pictured). It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures approximately 20” wide and 33” tall, and the fixture is 51” long overall.
