Description

An incredible antique figural inverted dome chandelier by Handel, dating from the 1900s. This light fixture begins with an elegant canopy, descending in chain to meet a volute loop finial and baluster; the baluster attaches to framework which supports a band ornamented with beautifully cast leaf masks and wave scroll detail; the ring supports the fixture’s decorative cut glass shade. This rare light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges and a few scuffs which do not detract from the beauty of the light (as pictured). It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 14-1/2″ in diameter, 18″ tall, and 31-1/2″ long overall.
